Each home has its own protocol for hurricane preparation. At the beginning of the off-season or prior to a specific hurricane’s landfall, we implement this action plan. If a tropical storm or hurricane is approaching, we ensure we have taken full inventory, that insurance coverage is up-to-date and perform a full exterior inspection of the premises. All exterior furniture and fixtures are secured or brought indoors, collectables and valuables accounted for, we check windows and doors, automobiles and golf carts, as well as back-up generators. We also perform a post storm inspection providing a full report of our findings and take any action that might be necessary.
